Bus Ministry
Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled. Luke 14:23

Every Sunday morning the buses of Calvary Baptist Church roll out as we attempt to fulfill this command. Our bus ministry is staffed by caring volunteers who go out each week and bring children and adults to church that otherwise may not have the opportunity to come.

Children ages four through fifth grade attend an age-appropriate children's church class. Teens in the sixth through twelfth grades attend Bus Teen church, where they will hear a challenging message from God's Word.

Jail Ministry
“...I was in prison, and ye came unto me.” Matthew 25:36

This ministry opportunity is designed to reach those incarcerated in the Stokes County Jail with the hope of the gospel. A group of our men and ladies visit the Stokes County Jail four times a month to witness to the inmates and hold Bible studies. The men and ladies are divided into separate groups to visit with the inmates. The women meet with female inmates to hold Bible studies; the men meet with the male inmates to preach and witness. There have been numerous inmates saved through this ministry to forgotten people, and we have members now serving faithfully in our church that were reached through the jail ministry.

For more information, please call the church office at 336.983.3728 or contact Bro. Thomas Delp at tdelp@cbcking.org.
