Pastor Kevin Broyhill became the Senior Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in March of 2008, after serving as Calvary's Associate Pastor for two years. He came to know the Lord as his Savior at the age of seventeen and was called to preach the Gospel a year later. Pastor Broyhill studied at Piedmont Bible College in Winston-Salem, N.C. and graduated with a Bachelor of Theology degree in 1994 from Calvary Baptist Bible College in King, N.C. Prior to coming to Calvary Baptist Church he served as the Pastor of Temple Baptist Church in Lenoir, N.C. for sixteen years. Pastor Broyhill and his wife Lori have two children, Emily and James.

Pastor Scott Vernon became the Assistant Pastor at Calvary in 1996. Pastor Vernon was saved in 1984 at the age of twenty-seven, and called to preach in 1986. He earned a Bachelor of Theology degree in 1992 from Calvary Baptist Bible College. He was called to pastor Lighthouse Baptist Church in New Castle, Virginia and pastored there for five years. Pastor Vernon oversees the visitation program and teaches the Partners for Christ Sunday School class. He is married to Debbie Vernon and has four children: Amanda, Joshua, Caleb and Benjamin, and three grandchildren: Ruth, Naomi, and Emma.

Pastor Rod Baker previously served as the Youth Pastor from 1995 to 2012. He is currently one of the assistant pastors overseeing Education and Assimilation Ministries of Calvary. He is the oldest son of Dr. Roger Baker. He was saved at the age of twelve during Vacation Bible School at Calvary and was called to preach as a teenager. Brother Rod graduated from Calvary Baptist Bible College with a Bachelor of Theology degree. Brother Rod is married to Joy Baker and has two children: Charity and Justin.

Pastor Vince Keeton became the Children's Pastor in early 2008. Brother Keeton graduated from Calvary Baptist Bible College in 2007 with a Bachelor of Theology degree. He leads our children's ministries and our outreach ministries (including jail ministry) and teaches the Friendship Sunday School class. Brother Vince is married to Heather Keeton, and has three children: Evan, Emily, and Clayton.

Pastor Bryan Hartley became the Youth Pastor in August 2012. Brother Hartley graduated from Ambassador Baptist College in 1998 with a Diploma of Theology majoring in pastoral and youth studies. He surrendered to full-time Christian service in 1992 and was ordained by Pastor Kevin Broyhill in 2002.  He is married to Sapphira Hartley, and has two children: Madison, and Kessler.

Brother Thomas Delp 

Bro. Thomas Delp was raised in a Godly Christian home, and in 1999 received Christ as his personal Savior. Upon receiving most of his music training and a Graduate of Theology degree from Ambassador Baptist College from 2007-2011, Brother Delp came to Calvary Baptist Bible College in King in 2012 where he received a Bachelor of Theology degree. Brother Delp is married to his wonderful wife, Tiffany, who has come to Calvary since an early age through the bus ministry!  Brother Delp became the Minister of Music at Calvary in June of 2012. Brother Delp also leads our nursing home ministries and assists Pastor Broyhill in various areas as he is needed.

Barbara Danley serves as the church secretary and Pastor's secretary. Barbara has worked at Calvary since April 2006, after serving at Calvary Christian School for five years. She and her husband Russ have one daughter, Angela, and four grandchildren, Faith, Maggie, Carson, and Eli.

Debbie Rock serves as the Church Financial Secretary. Debbie has worked for Calvary Baptist Church for sixteen years. She worked for Calvary Christian School for eleven of those years as the School Secretary and then became the Church Financial Secretary in June of 2004. Debbie is married to David Rock and has two children, Melissa and Jason, two grandsons, Isaac and Daniel, and granddaughter, Mary.

Janet Griffin serves as the Church Receptionist/Administrative Assistant and has been employeed with Calvary Baptist Church since January 2009. She is married to Terry Griffin and has two adult children, Tina Hamilton and Wayne Griffin, two grand-children (Wyat and Nate Conley), and four step-grandchildren (Kyle, Tamara, Rachel and Tripp).

Kristian Lane serves as the Church Receptionist and has been employed with Calvary Baptist Church since July 2011. She is married to Michael Lane.
